I recently started to get electrolysis this year to remove induced hair growth caused by laser hair removal. The problem is that the area I got treated (my neck) took many treatments over the course of like 6 months. The treatments were very successful which makes other areas on my body seem like attractive candidates for electrolysis. However, these areas (my back, upper arms, and shoulders) are many times larger than the area on my neck. It would take FOREVER to get all that treated, but then I remembered something my electrolysis technician told me. She told me about a clinic in Texas that shoots you up with pain killers and multiple technicians go to town on you.

My question is what you guys think about such a treatment and if you can recommended any clinics around the mid east coast in the States.

Lucy Peters comes to mind for doing large areas on the East Coast? Who can help out on that one?

It is crazy frustrating that electrolysis is the ONY thing on earth that will help you, but the service is not easily available for such large areas. It would be wonderful if more schools would encourage the new electrologists to undertake these large projects. Not only is the outcome very satisfying for both electrologist and recipient, but one could earn a decent livelihood by specializing in this niche. It is a rare breed of electrologist that will undertake such a project. You need a compliant client who doesn’t complain about the money side to get there and who shows up as directed for their appointments.

There’s not much Lucy won’t tackle but all her offices are located in NYC. I’d call Margret Wingate/ Beauty Skin Deep in Charlotte, NC. At the very least she can point you in the right direction in NC. There are a lot of clinics that will put multiple operators on a client if requested.

What about Gior electrolysis? They are located on Long Island NY and it’s a family business now with 3 electrologists working there. I don’t see much reviews about them on the internet, but if they are as good as their father Fino Gior was, large areas should be their specialty too. http://www.newyorkelectrolysis.com/AECAstaff.htm

I hear they are great! For marathon sessions, a tag team approach would be a super plan to rid large areas of hair.
