hey! how far apart were your electrolysis appts? I reached 1st clearance(!!!) and instead of once a week (only took a few weeks) i think i am switching to once every other or even 3 weeks (waiting to see what happens at the 2 week mark) thanks!
After first clearance, your electrologist could see hair to work on as soon as one week later, but you won’t notice anything until 2 to 3 weeks later.
How you choose to proceed depends on if you want to do shorter appointments once a week, or longer appointments every 2 or 3 weeks.
I wouldn’t switch to any specific time regimen. I would go in as soon as new hair pops up. You want to get it while it’s new and weak. This is usually 2-3 weeks later. I was going every 2 weeks at first, and then every 3 weeks.
My electro is booked up at least a month in advance. I am still going regularly, but I am setting appointments 10 weeks from now to see her. So, if this is true for many others, the client must “expect” how often treatment will be necessary as one makes headway against hair. Either that, or make appointments that you will expect to cancel.
I’ve set my appts ahead of time and rescheduled when needed.
