Kree Imperial Deluxe Manual

Hi, I picked up a Kree Imperial Deluxe the other day with the hopes of restoring it to operational condition. I am replacing all 5 tubes and will possibly be sourcing a new can capacitor for it as well.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has a manual for the Imperial Deluxe laying around. I need some pictures of the pages as to transcribe it so I will have a manual myself.

I am an electrologist, LHR technician, and currently attending esthetician school. I love antiques and early tube type thermolysis is something that is fascinating to me.

I have the manual somewhere in a gigantic pile of boxes, books, backpacks, spiders and roaches in the basement. As I stated, I had one of these units in 1975 (pretty sure that yours predates mine). A couple things I remember:

Amazing how little there is in that machine! The foot switch will never wear out (I still have mine). Those “pre-set” timer buttons don’t do anything and were probably just slapped-on to make the unit more impressive (notice that the “washers” on the buttons didn’t fit so they just cut off the excess.

Your needle cord is NOT shielded and you cannot use a shielded cord with this unit, i.e., if you want to use, say, Ballet needles with a different cord. This unit was probably the last type produced by Gero Artinian (Kree, Inc). He had a 90-hour electrology course in NYC that advertised: “take a vacation in New York city … and go home with a profession.”

Times sure have changed!

Interesting piece of history. Isn’t there an electrology museum in Arizona? Perhaps they’ll have a copy of a manual.

I think the Most you can find out so.
By this Machine only 1 is not Clear .

I mean what is

Intensity control, should be clear
Timer control , same
Needle Cord, also
Foot pedal ,also
Power On/off , also
Pilot an Output , i saw othe rmachiens of this i think its just lamps .

This Variable Push Button timer im not 100% Sure but i think its for ther Button (the 4) in the Middle.
I saw by Other Pictures you can pull this buttons out.

I think because its Mechanical , that you can save with timer control and timer buttons , make presettings like for 3-4-5-6 seconds treatment time.

In my childhood, my father had a very old iron that was from 1970, since you also had such options. Even if it was very complicated. Also nen very old cassette recorder from 1980, also had such options. Had endless buttons that you can no longer find today.

But i think the Timer Buttons are just like a Second Option to work without foot pedal.

i mean you can test this machine out without risc on a piece meat with hairs or the other possibilities.

by Ebay here you get a machine restaureated for 70 euro arround.

But i saw of the imperalal deluxe 3 versions… i mean the controll field is the same.
But the case was 3 times other. What is now the original , i dont know.
