My electrologist went out of town this week to visit family for Christmas, but didn’t tell me until the last minute. As a result I am going to miss a session with her. Now I have been frantic trying to make an appointment with any electrologist in town, but everyone is gone. I don’t know why, but I can’t stand the thought of missing a session. I know it’s only a week.
One of the things that happens with most electrology practices is things come to a screaming halt around the Christmas/New Years time frame. People are just too busy and their money is going in different directions. In many cases staying open during this season will not even pay the utility bills plus we all have families as well. Those who do stay open are usually totally booked at least a month in advance.
Missing a week is not a major setback, but there will be a bit more hair to remove at the next session. My best advice? Enjoy the holiday season with friends and family and get back on schedule right after the holidays.
All my best,
Joanie

It would be best to pre-schedule your next appointment when you finish your existing appointment, or just have a standard set day and time. It is tough to find an electrologist who is available to give you an appointment at the last minute before a major holiday.
