The hair near my jaw line was fully cleared at one point. And then grew back thin and light. The couple hairs near the top left of the pic are stubborn hairs that haven’t been killed by laser yet?
I’m on estradiol, spironolactone, and progesterone.
My laser tech said hormones can cause regrowth like that? But i’m mildly concerned.
This is after 12-14 once a month sessions. Now about every 6-8 weeks.

It sure looks like it might be. Your complexion makes you susceptable to such . Switch to electrolysis. There is absolutely zero advantage to doing laser as frequently as once a month. You are wasting your money to zap the same hairs over and over. There is nothing in your account that suggests a hormonal change.

My laser tech says it could be hormonal and that face can be difficult. And that she could increase the laser settings? She has her own clinic and teaches at a college as well, so she’s well versed in what she does. But I’m really scared to risk getting any more hair from laser. I don’t think there’s a lot of facial hair left where electrolysis would take a very long time?
Do I need to wait before starting electrolysis after doing laser? Or am I okay to start electrolysis shortly after on visible hairs?
You dont need to wait.
I’m going to be blunt and say i disagree with your laser Technician. This doesnt appear to be a hormonal issue. The hair pattern is way off. Olive complexion makes you susceptable to paradoxal hair growth and the pattern of the growth you are seeing is consistent with such cases I have treated in the past.also there is no efficiency to doing lasr more often than twice in a single hair growth cycle, that is 3-5 months in length. Anything more than that and you are just paying to zap the same hairs twice.
