Is this normal or scarring?

Maybe not the best test spot but I’m trying to avoid the areas I’m targeting with laser. Does this look normal? Its 1-2 days out. I’m still getting used to the right amount of time and energy I need to direct. I’m experimenting with the salt water but it like… shocks me sometimes which I’m not sure is normal. Any advice would be appreciated.

It’s not scarring but it could be if you overtreated too many follicles close together. It’s also not normal for professional electrolysis. This is exactly what I’d expect from a DIY tool. I’ve never known anyone to successfully DIY their face with those tiny galvanic kits. It takes forever, and they don’t treat your skin kindly.

I understand the reluctance to co sign on diy galvanic kits. Personally, the price of electrolysis isn’t as much of an issue as the travel time. For me to get a session I would need to travel three hours round trip :sob: now factor in cost of travel, wear on car, and time off of work and the sessions become significantly more expensive.

I was more stressed about PIH when I made this post but I think it might just be a temporary side effect that can be remedied when I get to a stable place. Just as long as it’s not scarring. I’m making sure to wear sun protection to help with the results.
