Is this a good price?

I was quoted by a dermatologist in Beverly Hills $750 per treatment for full back, upper arms, and neck. Seems a little high to me, but I like that it’s the actual Dr. doing the procedure.

Price varies by location, so you need to shop around.

Regardless, your prime concerns should be whether or not you are an ideal candidate for laser, and the experience of the laser operator. The areas you want to treat are prone to induced growth, especially upper arms. You should only treat coarse, dark hair.

Having a Dr treat you isn’t important. Experience matters most.

It’s a waste of money that a doctor does it. Besides, how can you be certain that he does it? Usually you go to a doctor’s place only to find out other people do it.

There are doctors in BH who do it themselves. Mine did. However, this isn’t necessary and it doesn’t mean you’ll get better treatments than elsewhere. The type of laser and settings are important, and experience. Most doctors do other stuff primarily, so they don’t have as much hands-on experience.

Also, as mentioned, most men don’t have coarse and dense growth on all those areas. This area is prone to induced growth. I wouldn’t jump into treating all of that before making sure which parts are actually coarse enough and only treating those at high settings.

Shop around.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I’ll look into electrolysis instead.
