The Clareblend Ultrablend
I dont know the ultrablend model, but clairblends have one of the highest rates of owner satisfaction of any of the brands out there. For most of the people that use one, you can have it back out of their cold dead hands. In fact in terms of owner satisfaction, the 2 brands with most loyal following are claireblend and Instantron. When I was looking at machines, this was made very apparent to me, and I surveyed an awful lot of qualified electrologists as to which machines they preferred and why.
This is the unit I worked on for a year or more … with Marge Smith (owner and creator of “Clare Incorporated.” good solid unit indeed. I have several of these as back-up and they all still work … even “unit #1” the original “blue box” unit.
By the way, I drew the company logo that is still in use today. I also suggested the name change (still in use today). Strangely, the original logo was an “Iron Cross!” I never quite understood why they used that logo since the girls (Marge & Betty) weren’t even German. I remember my shock when I first saw the original logo!
Nobody ever talks about Marge, but she was one of the great pioneers in electrology and I loved her dearly. Some of her designs are still revolutionary and have yet to be adopted. (She made the first “transistorized” unit. “Marge & Betty” … they were my friends and … nobody knows them.
And yes, the Instantron units are rock solid and the company is 100% … To put it in simple historical terms, “Instantron is electrology!” Skip should use that quote in his advertising … because it’s actually true!
Good to know. Thank you for the feedback!
That’s cool. Thanks for sharing.
