I read on a “laser” site that the diode laser has the edge over pulse light, is this true?

I could imagine that a laser causes more damage to the hair shafts than pulse light.

yes, diode laser is more effective for hair removal. if you run a search for “IPL”, you can find previous discussions on the topic. The most effective laser for LIGHT skin is an alexandrite.
