Is TENs machine effective during electrolysis treatment?

Has anyone tried TENs machine to manage pain during electrolysis treatment? Does it work with the pain management?

Thank you, Nora

Oh yes, this was tried more than 30 years ago. Romano Scavo (Nederland) was making devices for NATO and then made electrolysis devices for Velin, B.V. (Chirs Van Lint, Beesd, Netherlands). Romano (now living in Denmark), fiddled with TENS units because he was already producing the units for physical therapy.

He then came up with the idea of putting the TENS current in the electrolysis needle itself. So, he had blend (DC and HF) AND TENS as well … all together. He also was the first in Europe to produce a 27-Megahertz thermolysis unit. A 27-megahertz unit was made as far back as the 1950s.

Results from lots of experiments? Well, if you could stand the “pain” of the TENS unit, it sort of made you focus less on the pain of the thermolysis and electrolysis currents. I didn’t like it at all! Overall, it was a failure … but a good idea nonetheless. Sort of like punching yourself so you don’t feel the pain of another injury?

Thank YOU again& again Mike for sharing insight info. :two_hearts::sparkling_heart::pray:

Always good to talk with you Nora … I hope all is well in Ozz!
