No, this is not normal. I won’t sugarcoat it: this is beyond overtreatment, it’s malpractice. I’ve only ever previously seen work like this on social media from “electrolysis” performed in India without proper equipment or technique. Whatever this is and wherever it was done, it is not electrolysis.
You must see a reputable dermatologist as soon as possible to achieve the best healing outcome. Aside from that, the use of silicon gel sheets are medically proven to aid in the healing and minimise the appearance of scarring.
Skin is amazing at healing itself, and even better under medical supervision and proven treatments, so it will look better in months and years from now, but I can’t say it will ever return completely to its previous appearance.
No This is severe overtreatment and likely toleave Scarring. Thermo is absolutely correct see Dermatologist immediately. but honestly, they wont be able to do a whole lot until healing has taken place. This is a terrible result, and you should be considering legal action. This levels on incompetence. You honestly will likely need to SUE.
Edit: I’ve unfortunately had to delete your other post, as it was pretty much a duplicate. Lets keep this topic in one thread if that is okay.
In what country did you receive this egregious treatment? There is no way the person who performed this had any training in electrolysis, no way! This is malpractice worthy of legal punishment. I’m sorry you experienced this; this is very serious and as was advised, seek medical intervention from a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon that has experience in burn treatments.
