is it true ??

My electrologist said to me that if by removing (by electrolysis) 4 times one unwanted hair, this one will stop growing back after this 4 times. SO, IS IT TRUE ? Thank u in advance

The truth is that the hair you have in January is NOT the hair you have in April, is NOT the hair you have in July, is NOT the hair you have in October. So one has to remove these hairs when they arrive. Since THAT takes more than one appointment, one needs to try to make the client understand that more than one appointment will be necessary. Many practitioners do this by saying “One needs to treat the hair 4 times to weaken it” instead of trying to get the client to understand the truth. Most clients are saying “Yeah, yeah, stop boring me with this, and lets get on to the hair removal” the entire time you are explaining the procedure to them anyway.

I am constantly teaching and reinforcing concepts that were painstakingly offered at the first consultation . That’s okay because I have infinite patience. I believe that the hair is treated once and that’s it. Bye bye. Glad to know ya. If some of the hair germ cells are left behind, then I will see a very, very miniature version of the original hair somewhere down the road. If every hair had to be treated four times over 9-18 months, then I am assuming that the hair was being under treated. There is the concept of the breaking down process, but since I have been using the Apilus Platinum for three years now, I am observing pretty complete destruction of the hair follicle the first time me and the hair encounter each other.

I think like James does, she trying to make it easier to understand because there is no accurate way she can keep tract of what follicles were treated and which ones are new.

I like to get my clients cleared and in turn, I write on their statistic sheet the number of the clearance , i.e., Clearance # 1, Clearance #2 and on and on. For most cases, we usually are finished somewhere between 8-23 clearances spread out over 9-18 months. That doesn’t mean that each hair has been treated 8-23 times!

It may. Depends on the blood supply. The body is always trying to heal and stay balanced.

Four times for one hair? NO.

Four times of clearance? NO.

What Dee said? YES
