Hello, I’ve been getting electrolysis for my chin and neck for 4 months. I haven’t experienced any problems on my chin, but some issues have started to appear on my neck. When I look at it under different lights, I’ve noticed a few pitted areas on my neck. In daylight, however, these pits are replaced by just dark spots. I can’t decide what it is, so I wanted to ask about it here. Is it scarring or just hyperpigmentation?
It’s just hyperpigmentation and uneven skin texture which is a possibility with electrolysis. It’s not permanent, so you can continue treatments without any concerns.

1000% what Thermo has said. Often there are small indents from wound contraction but these generally resolve over time. The sme with resulting hyperpigmentation. Nothing to stress about here whatsoever.
