Is it okay to bring someone with you to appt?

I’m really nervous about the first session, my electrologist works from the home, do you think it would be okay to have my mother sit in with me during my first appointment?..I have not seen her set up, and I know it would depend somewhat on the person doing the work, I’m just wondering if this would be an out of the ordinary request. Thanks

This is not out of the ordinary.
It happens frequently and I personally don’t have any issues with it.
Call your electrologist and tell her you are bringing your mother and if she says, “No”, ask why.

I agree with Arlene. In fact I even have extra chairs in my treatment room for just this purpose. Don’t expect all practitioners won’t be so accommodating, however.

It’s your time, in my opinion. As long as the person doesn’t pose a safety issue, I would think you’d be in your rights to ask and expect accommodation.

I agree with James and Arlene. This is not unusual ,and is a very regular occurance.

Glad to know it’s a normal thing, thank you all
