Is it better to widen time between treatments?

Hey,

So my second treatment is in the first week of June which would be 8 weeks from my first. I had a touch-up a couple weeks back (not totally clear, but definitely 90% now), but the majority of my hair has yet to actually grow back in. This is the bikini/stomach area.

Some of the hairs that have grown back are really fine. I’m worried that the laser won’t pick them up now…

Anyway, I was wondering if it’d be all right to stretch out the time in between treatments? About 12 weeks or so instead of the recommended 8 - 10. Is that bad? Also, am I more likely to get laser-induced growth because of the previously-coarse-now-fine hairs?

My technician still recommended that I come in on June 4th and said it’ll be all right, but I don’t know. I haven’t shaved the area at all because I don’t need to… There’s virtually nothing to handle.

The “recommended” treatment time is when YOU have enough hair to treat. It sounds like you need to wait longer. Up to 12 weeks is not an issue at all.
