Hi can anyone tell me if there is an effective way to treat the remaining hairs on my face and neck? I have had 4 IPL treatments so far but I now have just white or very light hairs left to treat and I’m told that there is a lotion or spray that I can use before treatment to darken the hairs so as to make them more treetable, but I’m not so sure about this. Is it true? I have also just been told that ND Yag could be the answer? Does anyone have any experience?

IPL and lasers work by treating the pigment in the root of the hair follicle. Lotions and sprays only darken the visible part of the hair and not the root; therefore, lotions and sprays won’t work. The best way to permanently remove the remaining hairs is electrolysis.
