IPL combined with radiofrequency

Hi, I am a young german dermatologist and will have a discussion with other epilation specialists during a congress in Munich next week.

Here is my urgent question: Recently the FDA approved Aurora, a new IPL-device which is combining IPL and radio frequency energy for hair reduction. In February this device will have an approval for permanent hair reduction. It is proposed, that this device is more effective and safer than other noncoherent light sources.

Has anybody else experiences with the combination of IPL and radiofrequency?

It is proposed but unproven. They have yet to test their theory under controlled clinical conditions and publish the results.
