I get electrolysis done on my thighs and bikini. In between treatments with growth (don’t know if it is regrowth or new growth)some of the hairs are ingrown s and it delays the process of removing the hairs quicker.
I was wondering is there a topical cream I could use to avoid ingrown or with the already existent to make those ingrown come out from under the skin to make it easier for the practitioner to remove the hairs during the treatment?
I sometimes get the temptation to start picking at them myself in between treatment. I had the look of skin under my skin when it can be removed.
Thanks.
Yas
I haven’t used it before, but I wonder if tend-skin would help… it seems like it helps with waxing/shaving from what I read in other post, but I wonder if it would work with electro… I hope you get replies back from the pros. =]
You can try Tretinoin(0.025%), Adapalene Gel(0.1%), Salicylic acid (2%)or glycolic acid (10% or higher) If it’s very bad, you can do glycolic or salicyclic acid peels.
TendSkin contains salicyclic and glycolic acid both but I’m not aware of their concentrations.
Exfoliating with a mitt might help a bit as well.
