Ingrowing neck hair removal

Hi guys!

I really need your advice. I suffer from ingrowing neck hair for years and now I´ve decided to get rid of them. I am 25, I have medium thick (like 7 of 10) dark neck hair and quite sensitive skin. What method and what machine would you recommend? I´m considering IPL removal, is it good way? And how long could the effect last? My priority is to remove the hair for as long as possible so I prefer even painful long lasting method over vice versa.

Thanks for every piece of advice!

Based on what you have said, it sounds like you should really consider electrolysis instead.

Is your hair COARSE? That’s the most important factor for LHR. I’m assuming it’s black?

IPL is not good for hair removal. If you have mostly coarse dark growth, then you need a true laser. To determine which type, please read the FAQs at the link below.

If the hair is not coarse, you need electrolysis.

Yes, it is black and coarse. And thank you very much for both replies. Since my hair is black and coarse I will try diode laser according to FAQs.

I agree with James, for permanent results electrolysis is best, especially for an area which is part of your face.

Both- laser and electrolysis- can work wonders if your hair is thick!

Laser would be less expensive and time-consuming. Electrolysis would be more efficient.

Google and let us know what you think your Flitzpatrick skin type is.

My skin type is III, does it change anything? And how long can the effect generally last according to chosen method?
And one last thing: in case of choosing diode laser, what do you think about ADSS´s FG 2000? Is it any good?

Thank you in advance

I’m not sure where in the FAQs you got that diode is best. Alex laser like GentleLASE would be best for your skin type. Diodes are harder to use and not as great as alex lasers.

I probably misunderstood some information. Ok then, I will try GentleLase. Thank you!
