Hello,

I just had my 3rd treatment with a diode laser and am very happy with the results - life is much easier. However, my problem is that the next day after treatment, every pore that has been exposed to laser is full of puss. Besides Tendskin (which I will be getting from now on) is there any cream you recommend? Also, what is the best way to keep the skin clean in order to avoid dirt that causes whiteheads? I have been told to stay out of the shower for at least 24-48 hours because the heat causes inflammation. Please give me any post-treatment help in the hopes of curbing the amount of whiteheads I get.

Tend Skin is for ingrowns. It’s not really for this type of thing. You should keep the area dry and apply pure aloe vera. Taking an antihistamine might help as well.

You would think that after so many rectifications of his statements, that jimmyjames would have realized that what he is saying is not true.

All I can see him accomplishing by stating facts that do not hold true for everyone, is that he will eventually get banished from the forum.

The forum is for sharing information and helping everyone understand the facts. Blaring out untruths does not meet this goal.

Too bad the rest of us have to hear his anger via this medium.

I think Tendskin will help. It’s alcohol based with other additives. Personally,I don’t care for the smell of Tendskin but it works.

Another product I’ve used is Sharps Barber Brigade No Shine Face Toner. I few dollars at Walmart or Target. It contains witchhazel, Triclosan,salicylic acid, etc. It smells much better than Tendskin.

There are many others Seabreeze etc.

A thin layer of antibiotic cream can help. Like Neosporin with aloe.
