My laser clinic says I shouldn’t take Ibuprofen for the 24 hours leading up to treatment (I think because it increases photosensitivity). They say Tylenol is okay. Are they mistaken about the Ibuprofen? I thought that it was actually recommended to take Advil/Ibuprofen to help manage the pain.
Never heard anything about Ibuprofen being photosensitive.

Thanks! I don’t have a medical background, but based on what I can gather from the Internet, photoallergic reactions are a type of photosensitivity, so I should avoid using Advil.
