I want my epilator to be like my toothbrush...

…I don’t want to live without it!!!

This means I will have to get the best and most versatile machine out there.

Which will it be?

Seriously now, I want to use it on my chest, abdomen, legs, and ‘bikini area.’ From what I’ve seen the Emjoi Optima is widely accepted as the best epilator. Is it? Should I go for the Braun instead? Time spent on my epilation is not such a big issue, I’m interested in final results, as well as the least painful machine.

Thanks!

stranger:

I’ve had other epilators before and they were great for pain and not getting all the fines hairs. Finally I was enlightened about the Emjoi Optima and glad I did.
I find it versatile to get into tight areas, able to rid even the finest hairs, has a strong and slient motor and the safety works. Sure the hair needs to be 1mm to grab but that hair is very fine and smooth not like when you shave and the stubs.
I find that with the duel rotaries I can switch from one area quickly quickly without turning the epilator around to get the right angle for different areas.
As for the Braun, while the name brand is wellknown and they have many good products, I’ve only heard medioca things about it’s epilator.

Hope this info helps?

I was looking for epilators today, but none of the stores I went to here in Vanocuver sold the Emjoi, or many other epilators for that matter. Are they available off the shelf? Where can I get one in Vancouver? For the Canadians among you, I went to various Shoppers and London Drugs locations but it wasn’t available anywhere. I can’t get it online either becuase I don’t have a credit card; so how does one go about in purchasing this device?!

Can you drive down to seattle and stop by the local The Sharper Image" they have plenty?

The Emjoi devices are good, but I usually suggest taking a look at the Braun devices. They usually have a couple more features and larger heads.
