So I’m letting my hair grow out for my consultation. I’m gonna get my face done but I also want my eyebrows done. Here lies the problem. My eyebrow hair is really thick and it grows really fast. I have to pluck every day and a lot grows. Even when I pluck u can still see the dots underneath my skin. I will clearly see a root when I pull the hair but I still have icky dots left. Anyways, I know you’re supposed to stop plucking before treatment but honestly if I waited at least 2 weeks to let it grow out, I’d be pretty scary looking. And there’s no way I’d be able to stay held up in my house for 2 weeks. Is there no avoiding not being able to pluck the area?
If you’re only having a consultation yet and are having issues with letting it grow out, then don’t. Even if you continue to pluck, I’m sure there will be some unwanted hairs growing back in on the day of your consultation for the electrologist to look at.
After that, before your first full treatment, you can let it grow out for a week or so, which should give an sufficient amount for the electrologist to work on. If you want your eyebrows looking clean and quickly, but can’t stand for it to all grow out so you can get a full initial clearance, go in every week or every few days to work on them for as long as is required to remove what has come out. Basically, have the electrolysis replace your plucking routine.
You could by one of those tiny razors and maybe shave the area?
