I have noticed lots of people post about clinics +

without giving the name… do you not feel comfortable giving out the name?

I am trying to make a list of places to try out in London and it’s been tough because people don’t give the names out very often. I know of 2 clinics in London that may work but I’d like to know of a few more

It is unfortunate that some people think that giving your business a review is somehow a negative thing (even when it is a good one) but most people want to ask the business person’s permission prior to leaving such public feedback, and in many cases, the owner’s reply is, “I don’t want the exposure, or extra business, as it is all I can do to keep up with what I have now.”

On the other hand, many don’t want to tell you who they are seeing until they are finished, as they don’t want to have a harder time scheduling their own appointments, because a crush of new business comes to their door.

Emily - I can tell you that I have like working with Skin Oasis in London. I’ve only just begun my treatments, but they will listen and work with you. But you do have to have some knowledge or they’ll convince you to go every 6 weeks (which I’m not doing).

In some states the use of the word “CLINIC” is regulated as a MEDICAL SITE. They have regulations about number of toilets, faucets, towel dispensers and so forth. All supposedly relate to health because clinics is where there are a lot of sick people. They can have some very expensive rules to follow and that includes inspections. Do not throw that word round without checking with your local health department.

They have to bother someone so it might as well be anyone who uses the word.

How about the auto DOCTOR or clinic. Or the computer doctor, TV doctor, or plumbing doctor. Everybody wants to be a doctor, “Everybody wants to get into the act” a quote by Jimmy Durante,

I think though it’s also because many people come on here asking for help, or are questioning their laser practitioners abilities. Sometimes it’s not just as simple as posting a question asking if their tech is doing something right, and if not switching providers. Especially if you’re on a contract or in a smaller city etc. So most people wouldn’t want to post their clinic because they don’t want to go in for a treatment and feel animosity from their technician because of the questions they ask on here.

Also a lot of times people post about pricing, asking if a certain price is a good deal for an area and so on. You’d hate to come on here and post something like that if your technician is also on here and knows what you’re willing to pay.
