Hyperpigmentation from Alexander laser

I have had alot of hyperpigmentation appear after having laser hair removal in big brown patches. Can anyone suggest any creams or treatment methods I can use to treat this. I have been putting tretinoin 0.5% cream on there which I read is good on the internet.

Also if anyone can tell me if the pigmentation will disappear and if so how long will it take. And one final question sorry, am I aloud to get more laser over the area which has pigmentation or do I need to wait for it dissapear until I can retreat the area.

Any help would be deeply appreciated as I am quiet depressed about the situation. :frowning:

It may take a few months to disappear. If you want something stronger, you should see a dermatologist.

Yes, you should wait until it is gone before you continue treatments. Also, talk to your clinic about it. They’re either using inappropriate settings for your skin type or a wrong laser for your skin type altogether.
