Threading is painful too… remember the lies about laser not being painful? Anyway, both waxing and threading rip the hairs out by the root. Sometimes those fine hairs that should just be left untouched by threading or waxing, return coarser as they were stimulated to transition from fine vellus hairs to coarse terminal ones. If you are new to hair removal, I do not suggest anyone do anything other than electrolysis on their faces.
