Give this a good thought…before answering. How would you feel about being hairy if society didn’t place a negative stereotype on it?? Would this change your mindset. Because we all know how important its to be liked by peers and society and the norms on body hair placed growing up…Would everyone still feel so distraught over their body hair if it was MORE socially accepted? If body hair was more so accepted would those spending amount of money and time still removing? For those who say its gross… whats gross about it? Its dirty… Why its it dirty… take a shower whats dirty about it?.. These are just thoughts to think about…
Believe it or not having body hair can be considered attractive, its just out-numbered by the socialites who deem that its unattractive. As sad as it sounds we have the advertising agency to thank for that. So those who have an abundance of body hair are looked at as being unattractive - which is WRONG. Prior to the past 10 years hair removal and being hairless wasn’t a booming trend as it is today.
I feel for those who say they feel ugly and unattractive and worthless because of what has transpired today.
Its very apparent that there is social pressure buy the number of these posts. So I asked if having body hair was socially accepted and not frowned upon … would you still feel the same way? Think about it…
