How true is this ?

So I have been reading about electrolysis and there is a website that is very interesting.

According to the owner of the website who is an electrologist. She says " I would also like to stress at this time that eyebrows are the ONLY hairs on the body that do not respond to constant plucking by growing deeper and coarser. Sometimes they can even be discouraged from coming back. "

Also there is another fact when she compares between Thermo and Galvanic which is interesting.

How true is this. I have sent her a massage but didn’t get a reply yet.

The scar tissue that builds up as a result of plucking can, in fact cause permanent hair removal in eyebrows, as the space an thickness of these follicles is so small.

Since you did not state your question about what ever is said on this site about galvanic and thermolysis, I won’t guess as to what that might be.

Then why it is difficult to treat eyebrows that have previously been plucked ? I don’t understand this.

It is hard to treat previously plucked hairs, because one wants the finished result to look good, and it is hard to make it look good, when working with an area where one can’t easily contour the lines, because of the irregular growth left in the aftermath of previously overplucked eyebrows. Think of the challenge of cutting and styling the hair of a balding man. You can’t do some styles, and you may not want to have your name associated with giving someone a hair-do that resembles Donald Trump’s coiffure.

Ok James I get you but here in this forum even the Pros say that it’s hard to treat previously plucked eyebrows because the hair root will be deeper which contradicts with the statement in my first post.

We don’t say that about eyebrow hairs or leg hairs, but that is the usual for facial hairs and many other parts of the body.
