How to do traditional sugaring

I am interested in doing traditional sugaring, and by that I mean, without strips. It seems like everywhere I look for information on sugaring, they only have information for using the strips. Does anyone know how to get the sugar to the correct consistency for this method? Also, for anyone out there that sugars (with either method), does it work well for the bikini area?

The mixture I use is 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup water and 2 cups sugar. Heat until the mixture is 150 degrees. Let it cool before use. I heat it up for 10 to 15 seconds to soften it enough for use after it has cooled.

It works on the bikini area. It takes some work to get the hang of using it.
