This may be a dumb question, but how should the hair look like when you use a home electrolysis machine. I just bought a clean+easy deluxe home electroysis machine. Should the hair have the root with a black tip on it or should it just be the hair. Thanks, by the way this is my first post, i have just recently joined.
Also the machine makes a buzzing sound when it makes contact with the hair, the sound continues throughout the whole process, does that mean i am making contact or not?? thanks
I am not certain what is inside this unit. It runs on Batteries, and it says something about radio frequency. It has two items that look like probe holders. Does it come with instructions that you can post.
Most Battery driven epilators are Galvanic and you can learn a little about that at this url:

I wish I could tell you more, but I do not know enough about this unit. Whether there is a bulb on the end of the hair, is dependant on what stage of hair growth the hair is in. Anagen, Catagen or Telegen. You should not feel like you are pulling the hair to remove it, as it should come freely.
Might be able to reply better if we knew more about what you have.

Some of these “Home” galvanic units (One Touch, Clean + Easy) have a buzzer. Mine did not. However, if the buzzer is sounding as soon as you touch the hair at the surface of the skin, I would presume that you’ve made an electrical connection at that point. This would be a bad practice. What you should be doing is not to close that electrical connection (your finger on the metal band) until you’ve slid the probe down to the bottom of the hair follicle. To have the buzzer running prior to that point usually means you’re burning your way in and you’ll never be able to feel if you’re properly sliding the probe down the hair shaft or just burning into the skin at some other angle.
