How should I go about treatment?

I am going away in exactly one month and would like to begin treatment for the removal of some back/shoulder hair so that I can comfortably take off my shirt at the beach. I have never undergone any treatment before.
I would like to time it so that I will be hair free for at least 1 or 2 weeks from the 10th November.
Can someone tell me the best way to do this with the time frame I have? I suspect i’d need a test patch first aswell?

the machines I can chose between are the SPL or alexandrite but my main objective at this stage is being hair free for that period of time… when I return i’ll worry about permanent removal. Advice would be appreciated. (yes the hair is dark and course enough for laser/ipl)

The way LHR works is that all treated hair sheds within 3 weeks after each treatment, so this would need to be done 3 weeks before you leave.

However, you need to figure out if your hair is coarse and dense enough for laser to affect it. Most hair on this area isn’t and instead of seeing results, you may actually experience MORE growth. So it’s definitely not something you should jump in without proper research.

SPL won’t really be effective regardless. I would eliminate that as an option altogether.

Thankyou for your reply.
Does this look coarse and dense enough?
Thanks

Ok well this is not my photo but I just discovered it while looking at another thread and my hair is the same density/color as this. Is this coarse enough for the alexandrite to do a good job?

No, this hair is not very coarse or very dark. Electrolysis would be a better bet.
