How much hair on the female chest/breast is Normal

I have the occasional black hair around the nipple but how much hair in between the breasts and on the chest or shoulder blade area is normal for a female? I have very small black hairs on the sides of my chests- I’d say next to my arm pit to the middle of my breast on each side and a few in between the breast. Just curious if this sounds normal or not. I already have too much hair to worry about lol. Not so noticeable but still prevents me from wearing tank tops!

Females having breast hair, hairs ‘sprouting’ around nipples is normal. It does seems to be one of those areas that rarely gets a mention in media almost taboo which is ironic since every other so called taboo subject get mentioned on a daily basis. While we’re on the subject it’s also very common for females to have hair on the lower back, buttocks and abdomen-normal and common.
However we don’t have to like it and if the fine hair is of a concern to you it can be removed with electrolysis. It comes down to finding a practitioner who is experienced at removing finer hair, uses loupes and good lighting.

I totally agree with Mairi. The only opinion you should listen to is your opinion. Who judges how much hair is enough? You wlll get so many opinions that it makes this question useless.

Breast hair is common. It seems that there isn’t a week that goes by where I am not treating breast hair. It is quite common. It is a very easy area to treat.

Is this a medical question or a question about aesthetics?

If you suspect a medical condition - there can be several that stimulate excess hair growth - you should see a physician, like an endocrinologist, for testing.

But since you are asking this on an electrolysis forum:
I treat, on average, 7 women per week for chest/breast hair, and there are many more who come in for facial work, but need to also book for chest/breast, but don’t.

Electrolysis works very well. I hope, this helps.
