how many folicles should be killed pr/treatment?

I had 3 treatments within 6 weeks on shoulders with almost full clearance. After 3/4th week, I started noticing the treated areas being covered with hairs. So I wonder on average what amount of follicles should be disabled per treatment ideally? My electrologist answered that everyone is different so some follicles will get thinned out over time or will be killed after a treatment. All she said that you will notices less hairs coming back after each treatment.

Is it normal for the hair to regrow to look like nothing has changed a lot? I did notice a slight improvement after these 3 treatments in terms of less density.

Yes. It is frustrating at first if you don’t understand a few concepts about hair. You have to be very PATIENT because you have no control and she has no control over these burdonsome hair growth cycles. You have more hair than you think or can see at one time. Everything she said to you is truthful. No one can possibly give you a number or percentage about how many hairs were permanently disabled in any one session. You have to measure success in months. You will be able to OBSERVE that, overall, things are getting better on the areas that have been cleared and maintained over a period of six months at least. Permanent hair removal (ELECTROLYSIS) is not for those with a McDonalds mentality. Permanent hair removal (ELECTROLYSIS) delivers total hair removal if it is done correctly with regularly scheduled appointments. It sounds to me like you have a good electrologist on your side who is telling it straight on.

OK thanks for replies. Just making sure if things are going right. I can’t wait for all of this to be over. Looking at all these hairs it feels like an endless mission for now.
