How long will it take?

So I started in October of "07 on my stomach. I know that I haven’t been going as often as I should, there are periods where I stop for like 2 weeks or more. I have a pretty good clearance already, but I also want to do my chest and boobs.

I am going 2 times a week, one time for one hour, and the next time for 2 hours.

I am extremely fed up with this hair, and there’s no other way out. It’s painful but there’s nothing else to do. I can’t wait until the day that I am hair free. The day that I can wear a bikini!! Or when I can wear a tank top and not have to wax!

So with that said, how long does it normally take to do from chest down to the end of the stomach. Most of the “thicker” hair’s are gone, and most of the rest are tiny hairs but there are many of them together.

And then how long do you estimate the whole back will take? (upper back is fine, lower back is thicker)
The face (side burns, upper lip, cheeks)
Arms? (only considering the upper arm for now)

And to anyone who is in this situation, I know its painful, but you will be so happy when it’s done!!

Thanks.

I’m estimating that for an entire year, it will cost me $5,000!

Here’s the thing. We can’t calculate this for you because we can’t see you and can’t tell how many individual hairs you have to treat. But I’ll provide you with information so you can estimate it yourself.

It takes around 12 months AFTER FIRST CLEARANCE to reach the final results. This involves going in as often and for as long of treatments as possible to get to that clearance AND then coming in as soon as new hair pops up to kill it while it’s still weak and in the right phase. So if you want to speed up you treatments, this is what you need to do. Estimate how many hairs you see on one area, multiple this number by 3 (since you have more hair that you see at any one time), and estimate how many hairs your electrologist removes per minute. The less you stick to this treatment schedule, the more you prolong the finish point.

I think most electrologists take out the darkest/thickest/most noticeable hair first and take out the less noticeable hair later; the lack of thick hair is probably a sign you are already seeing progress. Don’t get discouraged

Make sure you don’t wax the areas you are having electro on, or it will prolong the time needed to completely eliminate the hair with electrolysis.
