how long to wait before starting upper lip

Hi
I plan on starting electrolysis on my upper lip again, I threaded around 2 weeks ago
How long should I wait before starting treatments?

I am not looking for clearances, just to treat every third or fourth hair as the area is super sensitive and my swelling lasts for a long time

I know it will take ages for me to get cleArance but I can’t risk overtreating my skin

My hair is superfine and I have terrible pigmentation even when no hair is visible

Thanks

you can do it as soon as you see hair you wish to treat. Those hairs that you just threaded wont be available for tratment until sometime later, but any visible hairs can be treated.
I know I dont have to say this, but I will anyway, dont thread or pluck while getting treatments, it will only make treatment that much longer because the hair wont be visible to treat…

Seana

Thanks Seana

The hairs that I threaded have grown back already, did u mean they won’t be ready as they would not have grown back or did you mean something else?

Thanks

Hi Flowers these are not the same hairs that have grown back but new ones, hairs take turns to grow through.
I had to learn this when I started electrolysis I thought I only had 8 hairs on my chin turns out I had many many more taking turns hairs take around 6 weeks min some up to 12 weeks to grow back if they are the same hairs.
What Seana is saying is you can go in and treat the new hairs that have now grown and then if you went in around a months time you may get the hairs that you had threaded grow through and get them zapped.
It takes a long time with electrolysis because they are not the same hairs they may look them but they are not it takes up to a year to get every hair growing through on your upper lip chin where ever you are having treated.
With some people it may take another year to get any re growth ones or new ones due to hormones etc… popping up to say they are gone and clear for good.
