I know it’s impossible to tell how long electrolysis on an area would take because there are so many different factors, but as a very rough estimate, how long might upper arms/shoulder take to clear? 5 hours? 10 hours? 15 hours?
Thanks

You can find my thread using the search function. It has pictures of my hair, which was dense and thick. My right shoulder is clear enough for me, and it took 41 hours over a year. Doing my left shoulder now, after 6 laser treatments over a year (it’s much thinner and less painful now during electrolysis).
You could get First Clearance in 5 to 10 hours, and get to look finished for 3 to 6 weeks. Finishing the job once and for all, on the other hand, would require work spread out over at least one year. What ever your First Clearance time, one should multiply that by 3 or 6 to find a good guess as to what your full treatment time will be.
So if your first clearance is 5 hours, then your total time would fall somewhere between 15 and 30 hours, if the optimum treatment situation existed.
Bryce’s treatment journel can be found here:

I am going through the first clearance of my left shoulder, which I estimate will take 10 hours. 10 times 4 is 40 hours for the whole shebang. James’ expectations are in line with my data.
The good news is that, once cleared, I get to to have a clear shoulder from this day forward. Barring any skin issues, I get the desired look (although still at a price).
Please take care of your skin and don’t over-treat. The shoulder and upper arm are prone to pigmentation/scarring on my body.
Thanks. I was just curious how long each individual clearance might take.
