Today I had my second laser treatment and I must admit it was much less painful as my first time. I think I did it to close to my cycle the last time!!!
Bikini= think was 21 joules
face= 4 joules
Right now I am comfortable and about to go to work. Does this seem like the appropriate joules?
So far my treatments with American Laser Centers has been just wonderful!

Fluence or joules depends on the laser type, but mostly on spot size.

21 sonds about right, but 4 joules is way to low. My guess is that you hardly feel anything when they work on your face.
From the info I was given… 10 joules was the minimum amount to kill a hair follicle using a Diode laser. Typically it requires 20 joules or more for good results to be obtained
this really depends on the laser. LightSheer diode laser varies from 22-45 in joules and GentleLASE usually 12-25. Find out the type of laser first.
