Hormones and hair

Hi everyone,
This has been puzzling me … some doctors have told me that my young daughters may lose their excess body hair (backs, arms etc) when they go through puberty. BUT they have had hormone tests done and everything has come back fine.

So my question is, if it doesnt appear to be hormonal at this stage, then why would puberty possibly make the problem better? Does that make sense?

Thanks for any answers

I too would be interested to know of others thoughts with this question.

Thinking back, the areas where my friends and I already had hair pre-puberty only became coarser and denser after puberty…

Arm hair growth is genetically determined, not hormonal, so this would account for your daughters hormone tests being normal.
