Hi, after initial problems with electrolysis I am now having great results. My practitioner uses a gold needle instead of nickel and I take antihistamines before and after. However, due to regular menopausal problems I now am in HRT (Hormone replacement therapy) and have my next session if electrolysis on the 8th of April- soon. Does anyone know if the hormone replacement therapy can cause problems with electrolysis? I am worried about getting scars and dark spots. The progesterone replacement has a risk anyway of creating dark spots on the skin, and I am worried that the electrolysis will enforce this. I would be very grateful for feedback!
no, elctrolysis does notcause problems with HRT, I’ve treated 1000’s of people on HRT and none have had issues because of it when doing electrolysis.
