The most important thing to do right now is to let the skin heal and do not pick any scabs or dig out ingrowns yourself. Continue to use a mild cleanser and 100% aloe vera gel with no menthol. Avoid sunlight in that area and consider using a triple antibiotic ointment to keep the skin as bacteria-free as possible.
