If the answer is yes. your feedback on how you found the treatment would be greatly appreciated.
Every electrolysis journey story in this section has people outlining their treatments with either blend or thermolysis. Just read through them.
I have had slow thermolysis, flash thermolysis and blend. Slow thermolysis hurts the most. Flash thermolysis is the quickest and hurts the least - probably the best option IF you have a very skilled electrologist. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it work for me. I have sensitive skin and although flash was fine on my face, it left my body with a lot of scabbing which lasted weeks. Some small scars and lots of red marks which will probably eventually fade, but have not so far.
I have recently been having blend done on my body - hardly any scabs at all - a huge difference from thermolysis. Yes it is slow, but if you don’t live near someone like James or Dee who is amazing with flash, then blend might be worth a try for the peace of mind and the better skin reaction. Some people do find blend traumatic to the skin, though, so it might just be me.
An indication of speed - it took me about 4 hours to clear an area with blend that could have been cleared by flash in 2 hours. Slow thermolysis takes about as long as blend, and isn’t as good in my opinion.
