Unsure, I did a Zap using the one touch, however, when it came to tweezing out the hair it took some force, when it did come out it had a stealth on it, so does this mean that I killed it or was it plucked?
The probability is, plucked, though there is still a chance it could be dead from the lye remaining in the follicle it becomes less likely the more resistance there is. IT sounds lik you ar on the right track howver, just that you need to deliver more energy to the follicle in order to attain a good release. My early galvanic experimentation told me this took up to 2 minutes, and often, left huge scabs.
Thanks, 2zap… I’ve never left the probe in the follicle for 2 minutes, I’d say 30 seconds is the most I’d leave it in for… 2 minutes seems an awfully long time.
Almost there! … I’m still getting hairs appearing on the chin area, not as sevear as they were, all of the coarse hair has been removed, no sign of them for months now… But there is still finer hair coming through… Can the One Touch eliminate the fine hairs? … I think it can but not really sure!
I’ve been using the One Touch on the upper lip, the hair is really fine there but very dark, even though it’s black it’s still invisible, unless you use a magnifying mirror and bright light…
When I do the upper lip I don’t go deep into the pore, I seem to get a release after less than 10 seconds, (can’t leave it any longer as the sneezes kick in) … without plucking, is that normal ?
What do you think, is it working on the upper lip?

I would not attempt to use the one touch on the upper lip, and definitely not on fine hairs. The one touch probes are very course, about a .006 .which is too thick to insert into finer hairs. I rarely go over a .002 or .003 probe on uper lip, its just too uncomfortable or not possible to insert.
Seriously consider buying a professional model blend epilator if you are going to try and treat yuourself on the face.
Hi Zap, thank for the reply, at this stage I’m not going to invest in an professional machine… I’ve cleared all the embarrassing, obvious hairs, nothing has shown up for weeks now. This may sound strange but I miss zapping, ha! Anytime I look for hair there is nothing coming through, so, because there was nothing to Zap I just went for the finer hairs…if I can’t get rid of them, that’s grand, I can live with them…
I am getting very fine hair sprouting from the chin area, the area I thought was clear! … It’s very unusual growth, it’s the odd hair growing out but it’s growing straight out like cats whiskers, when I feel for growth on the chin I can’t feel anything, all seems smooth, I only noticed it while inspection my chin in the magnifying mirror and it caught the light, one of the hairs was about 2 inches long! … Jesus! … I never would have known it was there if the light didn’t catch it… And the hair is black.!.. Is this normal?
Magnifying mirrors and proper light can certainly make one gasp upon inspecting a facial area.
Most people have tons of hair follicles on their chin, with hair cycling in and out (growing and shedding). Don’t complicate this - when you see bothersome hair, zap it. Do this until you are satisfied. Maybe you didn’t get all the hair germ cells before or maybe it is new hair? Who knows for sure? The hair is there. It is long and it is dark. Zap it.
