OK so apparently i heard you should not sunbathe whilst having LHR treatments for several negative reasons.
About 6 weeks ago i had a LHR treatment and i was wondering if it’s now ok to sunbathe? (i dont plan on getting this area treated for several months) will i risk anything? should i just forget about it?
Has anyone actually got a tan whilst having LHR treatments?

The reason you shouldn’t tan is because you need your skin to be as light as possible to get the most effective treatments that actually kill hair for good. Laser works by being attracted to the pigment, which is in the hair. If it’s also in the surrounding skin, it will also burn the skin at settings high enough to kill the hair. So it’s in your best interest to avoid tanning your skin if you want to see results.
Your treatments should be on schedule if you want results. You shouldn’t be waiting several months between treatments.
It’s definitely a pain. I was on vacation down south and was out by the amazing pool but lying shirtless with a wash cloth covering my stomach just so it wouldn’t tan!!!
