I had another appointment this week with the woman with the Elegance machine and she pretty much cleared my upper lip, so that is good. It’s the first time I’ve had the area this clear. But even with almost an hour a week every week for the last 2 months, I still see areas that need to be cleared, like the corners of my jaw, near my eyes, and under my chin. It’s a lot of money and I get discouraged thinking of how much this could end up costing to complete. Has any other genetic female had dark hair and fair skin and completed the full cheeks, lip, and chin? How much did it end up costing, and how often did you have to go in? I am trying to get all the brown hairs and all the long hairs so that I don’t have to thread them and possibly make them become dark and coarse over time.
I asked her again about her not wanting to use the flash and she said she thought that I wouldn’t heal as well from flash. Maybe she was referring to the little red dots you get? From regular thermolysis last week I healed pretty well except that I have a really bad patch of big red pimples on one of my cheeks, which is very unusual for me but still it’s unlikely to be caused only by electrolysis.
So does anyone have any ideas on how to save money on removing all this hair? Or can you tell me how long it will take for the time needed to clear my whole face to reduce?
Anyway, on another note do you guys know you can eat aloe vera? They sell it at Trader Joes sweetened like canned fruit. I had some for lunch today hoping that it will work better than when just applied topically. And I saw an article in a magazine saying that eating or drinking aloe vera has a lot of health benefits. And the anti-acne benefits of electrolysis are continuing. I have sooo much fewer clogged pores. I wish I could do electrolysis on my nose for that reason, but I only have tiny blonde hairs.
