hairs with white roots

Alright, just got a ? about dark hairs with white roots.

I have had my full front, full back & back of my neck done recently, full front was 3 weeks ago.

Most of the hair has shed nicely but I still have quite a few hairs still firmly stuck in my skin which are really hard to pluck out, most of the time the hair just snaps before i can pull it out at the root, and when i do get one out at the root i have noticed the root is white, can these hairs be treated by the laser? The hairs are coarse its just the root which is white.

The same goes for my arms which I am having my first treatment on in a week, the hairs are coarse and very very dense but on a lot of the hairs the roots are white, just wondering if this will affect my treatments?

Oh yeah and just so there is no misunderstanding, the hairs which are still stuck firmly in my skin are NOT growing, they seem to be stunned & staying the same length, just not falling out.

Some hairs are sort of “melted into place” and will fall out with the shedding process of the skin.

If the ends are white, it generally means the hair is not in anagen phase anymore. Don’t worry too much regardless. With the next treatment, the hair will get synchronized.
