hair removal, when I have the money.

I have enough money to do one session on my upper lip. If I have to wait 2, 4, 6 month until I have more money, will the first session be a waste?

Well, this is not really a DIY question. But basically the answer is yes, as far as seeing much in the way of hair loss. But it might be ok to discover if your selected professional electrolysis practitioner is one that you would like to continue with in the future when you have enough finances to do it right on a proper schedule.

Judging if it is “a waste” depends on what you hope to accomplish. The hairs that are in growing stage, and are treated, will be gone and gone for good. That is not a waste. Depending on the skills and amount of time you are able to get in that appointment, you may get thinned, or even first clearance. Having what ever reduction for even 3 weeks time is not a waste. You will tend to have the same, or similar reduction a year later that same week, and the hair that was removed doesn’t grow anymore, and therefore is not visible during the 3 weeks around your appointment day.

What some would find “a waste” is that if you can’t maintain your result, you will look good for 3 to 6 weeks, while you slide back to looking like you did nothing, and then have to wait for next year to see what results you did get. (Assuming you would notice, which usually requires a good before, after, and follow up picture the next year on the same day.)
