Hair reduction technique on chest abdomen

Quick question for everyone here…

I would like to reduce the amount/density/coarseness of hair on my chest/abdomen. Am I better suited with laser for this? Laser in the past has induced growth on my shoulders. The other issue I find with laser is it can be patchy if not done 100% especially when only doing a reduction.

With that being said…would would be the best method for reduction using electrolysis. I have read many times about doing 1 full clearance vs 3 or 4 for complete removal. But what confuses me is that if I understand the hair growth cycle then doesn’t that mean you are just killing the hair in the particular cycle? So if I go through 3-4 cycles a year then wouldn’t a certain time of the year I would be practically hairless and other times have my full hair as usual? Could someone please explain this and offer a suggestion to the best method for chest/abdomen reduction. Also, what is the best modality? I would think Thermolysis since it is fast and more likely to thin the hairs than completely remove vs the blend.

I’m looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks.

For sure thermolysis, but you need a superb electrologist, and that is allmost an impossible person to find.

I have thought about 1 clearance at first (was thinking about it more than a year what is the best option), but I think Ill remove allmost all hair on torso and 1 clearance on legs…

hope this helps

Although that might happen the hair growth pattern will usually adapt into a new steady state with fewer hairs throughout the year.

If just a reduction is demanded i would probably not attempt a very thorough full clearance but leave some hairs left. Especially in areas where good efficency can be achieved by a very thorough clearance this might be mandatory. Dependent on the area very few clearances might suffice (but not necessarily).

Thank you for your answers…so if your advice is to be taken, I am lolling at doing thermolysis on the entire area for a full (though maybe not thorough clearance). Has anyone else had experience with this? How were your results?
