Hair grows back whitin a week?!

Hello everyone,

I have several posts here, but I am very traumatized by previous experiences and ir seems luck is not on my side. I had my inner thigh treated after paradoxal hairgrowth appeared on a spot near bikini. But this is how it looks after 1 week. It scabbed partially and the scabs already fell of… i dont think the hair should grow back this quick, I endured a lot of pain to be left behind with these marks + hair is crazy

I’m not seeing any hair growth out of your treated follicles.

Microscabs like that are typical in the bikini area. Did your electrologist explain the healing process to you during consultation?

I agree with the above. I only see the scabs in the treated follicles, which is typical of body work, and the redness which is a normal part of electrolysis. I don’t know that your electrologist has properly explained the treatment process or the healing process. You can expect to do more treatments over the next year or more, and your skin will probably look like this after each treatment. It will return to normal once you’ve finished.

Thabk you for your answer. I know they look like scabs, but the scabs already fell of. I am 12 days ahead now from treatment. The dark spots are These are hairs coming through. Stubble. They prick, thats why I knew they were haira. In a few days they will be longer. They just started 2 days ago hence they look like small dots. I told my electrologist, she said it is possible the new anagen hair is coming through. I said sure but was dissapointed since my hairs reacted rhe same as to waxing (will grow back whitin 10 days).

we have many more hair follicles than we realize. When we treat a hair with electrolysis we create inflamation which brings blood flow into the area. This has a habit of triggering other nearby follicles that were about to grow hair into suddenly being accelerated to do so.

In conclusion, it isnt the same hair.
