Hair follicle destruction question

Hi, My first post here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I understand during electroylsis the aim is to destroy the hair follicle. What happens to the rest of the hair cell (sebatious gland, etc) does this still function or die also.

Any info would be great.

Thanks

Our goal is to remove the germative cells that grow hair. We leave the follicle damaged, but not destroyed. The glands are either undamaged, or weakened. They should return to at least a diminished function once the area has healed. Even if we did destroy all of them, the follicles that did not grow hair would still secreat oil, and sweat.
