Hair follicle cure for wrinkles

Hi,

I am a new registered member from France I love to read all your topics for a while now.
I am a little stressed to post for the first time, I hope I won’t say any nonsense

I found some article like this one https://www.firstforwomen.com/posts/the-…-collage-170027

They say that hair follicles could be a new key to erase wrinkles

Thanks for reading me and sorry for my bad english

Hi Boulette,

This sort of treatment has been tried for at least 60-years (probably more). In theory is should work, i.e., by “laying down” new collagen (AKA: scar tissue).

In reality it does not work. In fact, you are more likely to create new wrinkles with electrolysis than diminish them.

Still, every decade or so, somebody comes up with this “new idea” … that they assume has never been tried befroe. It has been tried. it doesn’t work.

I’d go with the various “fillers” … now, THAT works!

Hi michael,

Thank you very much for your answer it’s really interesting, so electrolysis is more likely to create new wrinkles the price to pay to be beardless
There is still no way to avoid developing these wrinkles?

Apparently both causes would be either an over treatment or the destruction of the hair follicle that is responsible for the formation of colllagen and fat cell

the link does not work anymore I put you new ones

Oh my … lost in translation.

NO scars from beard removal. I thought you were talking about using HF to specifically remove wrinkles

Bienvenu sur le forum, Boulette !

As Michael said, electrolysis hair removal properly done will not create wrinkles. He wanted to say: if you want to treat wrinkles with electrolysis technique, you may get no results or worse, creating wrinkles. But this is not about hair removal !

No problem Michael thank you very much!

Merci beaucoup Adrien

I understand thanks, but what do you think about the link? Do you think is it possible that young hair follicle keep wrinkles away?

And you michael, what do you think about that?

it’s interesting

Most of what will be (eventually) known about the skin is yet to be discovered. I have done a lot of reading about the myofibroblast but not yet about how it transforms into a “fat cell.” New to me and lots of possibilities?

I usually don’t talk about this, because it sometimes causes a TON of fear, but the (stem cells) follicle is greatly responsible for re-growing the epidermis (if it’s abraded or burned).

Then, of course, the question arises: OMG what happens if we remove “all the follicles.” The point being … we don’t (cannot) remove ALL the follicles. Gosh, I hope I haven’t opened a “can of worms.”

Wrinkles formation relies on different factors : genetic, sun exposure, your lifestyle…
Hair follicle indeed contains steam cells which is important for the regeration of the skin but this is not the only element that control the quality of the skin.

Moreover, we don’t have to fear hair remover technique such as electrolysis because, as Michael said, we don’t remove 100% of hair follicles (some only produce very tiny hair, almost invisible, that we don’t treat)

In almost all cases, the skin is more beautiful after electrolysis hair removal treatment. So you can remove hair without the fear of getting more wrinkles.

Thank you very much to both of you. It’s really fascinating some time ago I thought that hair follicles were completely useless whereas they involved in rebuilding damaged skin.
Yes it is the best thing to say thank you you answered very well to my question it is true that it remains the vellus hair which has hair follicles

My right cheek now is all wrinckles especially when I smile …that was the aftermath of using electrolysis…I hope im wrong and could happen smth better… electrolysis made my 3 months hell …and I’m now still looking for solutions after I ruined my cheeks.hypegmentation becomes more red especially after shaving . it is all the time get much redder that what is was.i put vitamin c …but when I shave,it is more noticeable and Red lots and burns . hypegmentation as I know will fade away as I heard from some specialist but how can i get wrinckles removed from my cheeks and I’m still young for that !!!

I enhanced your photo to better show-up what you’re talking about. The red skin is a good sign that healing is continuing. The dots appear to be dots of hyperpigmentation that actually look like shaved hairs (?) … that will totally go away 100%. As I look at the photo, I’m inclined to think those dots are shaved hairs.

In this area of the face, wrinkling from electrolysis is something I have never seen … even with bad over-treatment; so I think what you are seeing is going to be temporary. You’ll just have to wait it out.

Yes sir Bono…the dots are shaved hair …but whenever I shave my cheeks get more red and I have to start from the beginning again to light it up with vitamin c or other ingredients…so ,you said that is a good sign of the healing process !! Does this mean that hypegmentation when becomes too red or dark it is on the surface of the skin and need some actions like exfoliating for example …!

Thank you so much for your time.

Please watch my video on hyperpigmentation called “Brown Spots on the skin.” Truly, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The simple quote is … “red and brown always goes away … white may stay.”

Exfoliation is NOT appropriate and will only irritate your skin. Look … you CANNOT help mother nature … just leave “her” alone! The more you fiddle with this, the more you are going to screw it up. “KEEP YOUR COTTON PICKIN’ FINGERS OFF!” Drink some wine, have a good meal and go chasin’ girls … you’ll forget all about it!

Thank you so much Sir Bono …I really like your support and your optimistic words .today after shaving with straight razor I saw some good improvement in the wrinckles…that were just dead skin that caused by hypegmentation. I shaved my cheeks and I put little pressure on the skin with razor to remove the dead skin cells …and I saw some improvement.i think as the hypegmentation goes away,I will see a smooth skin …I hope so .thanks a lots .
